Repress-ed

The body seeks relief of a feeling,
Circumstances will create themselves.

Cycles manifest centering conditions,
Never ending without full release.

Some expressions can be distracting,
All they do is continue the cycle.

Powering demand for acknowledgment,
The feeling grows in strength.

The conscious mind tries to create reasons,
Giving untrue explanations for the feeling.

The unconscious continues to feel it,
Getting more and more angry with the self.

Acceptance of the truth of the moment,
The only way to be free.

The toughest untruth to let go of,
Is the one most repeated and committed to.

Release

Snap, twist, groan, thaw,
The tension eases itself,
Spring life from absence.

Knowledge then wisdom,
Experience leads to awareness,
New space for growth to flow.

Tearing is pain foolishly chosen,
Let go to find peace,
Walk away to find freedom.

Breaking a cycle

a natural evolution

going against apparent instinct

connecting with the true path

limit pain by walking forward

look to where you walk

not getting distracted looking elsewhere

not hating yourself

not hating what is necessary

Ghosts in the mist

Duality is a beautiful thing,
A reflection reveals itself to itself.

The light of consciousness envelops,
The dark of subconscious obscures,
There is always light to balance out the dark.

Within the darkness of ourselves,
Reside the ghosts of unfelt emotions & thoughts,
Who become stronger with time and repression.

Acceptance and love relaxes us into who we are,
Tension and denial will only turn ghosts into demons.

Release

It’s your first time journeying, and you might want to have a handle to hold onto for comfort and peace.

The experience will likely feel as though you’re drifting through reality where everything you feel becomes vivid and different. Your psyche is going to drift along the connection between your body in the world and your spirit on the frontier.

There is no way to really distance yourself from or filter what you’re about to experience, so be prepared for that and also know that it’s an inward journey. It will likely be beautiful and enlightening,  but with some challenges. The feelings and experiences that you, on an innate or subscious level, are taking with you will be ones that you face. Your journey might give you a moment to accept and process so that you can be free.

Go on this journey with people who make you feel secure and have ideally practiced with medicines before. Their experience is going to affect yours so try to be aware of that affect going in so that it can be as positive as possible for everyone.

Remember that this is something that you’re doing to make yourself feel better, because you’re worth it. We all need to release parts of our psyche, or ego, that we’re holding onto so that we can just be who we are.

Let yourself be you, let your journey be what it is and remember love as you go.

Pain is not required

There’s a fine line that separates between discomfort and pain,

Discomfort is a space to be explored for growth,

Pain is what you feel when you’re exploring something else,

Both are sensations and the one you explore is based off your emotional and mental state,

Love yourself and focus on exploring discomfort, we should shun pain.

If you aren’t well and are trying to grow, you might be exploring pain.

Pain is your internal signal to stop and look for a better path.
